Woodside Logistics, the Channel Islands freight carrier has been operating for over a decade on Jersey, Guernsey and the UK south coast. It was founded by Charles Gallichan and launched in January 2015, initially to improve the freight options for his own farming business between the UK and Channel Islands. The business grew rapidly and in 2021 was acquired by Jersey Post, and this successful relationship saw the business continue to grow.

 

More recently on the 1st September 2025, Woodside Logistics was bought through a management buyout from Jersey Post, to support the business through its next phase of development. Woodside Logistics strong commercial relationship with Jersey Post, is still central to the longer term strategy.
